An unidentified female corper serving in Gumi LGA of Zamfara has been arrested in Sokoto over Indian hemp possession.
The lady was caught with 9kg of Indian hemp along Sokoto-Gusau road in Sokoto today .
In her confession, the lady said another Corps member lured her into the illegal business.
“I am ashamed of myself; this is my first time of engaging in this illegal business.
“I strongly advise fellow corps members to avoid falling into the temptation of such crooked means of making money, “the suspect said.
She is currently at NDLEA office in Sokoto.

Its a crime, yes, but come to think of the suffering of these corpers – the meager been paid as allowance can’t serve a week. This is the youth u knw wot will result if they are hungry. It hell-felt to kw that some corpers if nt 60 percent still send money out the meager to their families. Don’t cut branches of a tree and think the tree will b dead. Enough!
