In a recent chat with NET, Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo denies the rumoured rivalry war between himself and star actor Odunlade Adekola.

“Odunlade is one of my very good friends. We don’t see ourselves as rivals. Outside our profession, we see, we talk, we relate, we rub minds; we even share ideas regarding how to live our private lives. That automatically negates the word rivalry you are talking about. We are not rivals, we are friends, and we are colleagues. We do our things and our fans appreciate us…
Odunlade is a very tall man and I am not tall, I think that’s one of the very obvious differences between us. But we have a lot in common. Odunlade is a very fantastic actor; I am a very fantastic actor as well. We interpret our roles the way we feel it should be interpreted. We share the same date of birth. We are in the same industry. He is friendly, I’m friendly; he is down to earth and I’m equally down to earth….
In terms of role interpretation, we think Odunlade gets the upper hand. What do you think?

hahaha my dare u r good but don,t compare urself with Odunlade he is a superstar he is full of actions and every of his movie he played it in a very matured way na plenty gboza 4 am i just fall in love with his movies i am nt even a yoruba person but bcos of him i take delight now in watching yoruba movies especially when Odun,s is feature as for now he is the best actor in yoruba movie industry Odunlade a k a Alani pamelekun u 2much

In most cases, they do not portray similar character in their movies,but Odunlade has distinguished aptitude for tough character. Linguistically speaking, Adebayo can speak modern and old(village) Yoruba effectively. I see Adebayo more than Odunlade in Village set up. Perhaps, flexibility is the difference.The effect repose in me after I watched Oyenusi, is very powerful. It was a 5 star performance.

Odunlada can’t speak a good English joor I prefer femi far far better caus he can express him self anywhere odun his just a luck guy and wen God chooses someone has num1 no one can compare to d person!!!!femi is d best for me oooo caus I appreciate his vocal in public

Though I can say FEMI is more vocal than ODUNLADE, he is a lawyer for cry-out-loud, but for me as a fans of odunlade baddoo sneh, he is a very good actor, play his path maturely in a role. And for femi he is also a fantastic actor. Very good as well.
