One of most respected grandpas in Nollywood, veteran actor Festus Aguebor is dead.

According to a reliable source NaijaGists.com contacted in Benin city this afternoon, the actor died in abject poverty and liver disease complication because his colleagues abandoned him.

In 2011, the actor left Lagos and moved back to his base in Benin city because jobs were not forth coming and since he could no longer keep up with the expensive living in Lagos, he returned to his home state (Edo state) where he went into full time farming.

Along the line, he got two or three jobs and that was it.

NaijaGists.com source said Festus Aguebor died in his sleep on Sunday night.
