  1. This woman is a complete waste of time
What does it takes to bless the widow, is loan a blessing or a burden to the poor widow
Am very disappointed in this Alakuja oil thief

    • Please Durumi boy, don’t call her thief; her investment in oil was legally approved by the government, so she did not steal anything from us(Nigerians) . She is just one lucky being!

    • She is never a waste of time. Don’t you know human beings are hard to deal with? If she had given them free, some if not most of them will squander the money without remorse and will be waiting to get from another philanthropist. But if it is registered in their brains that they will have to pay back they will be more careful in investing and not just use the money for selfish interest.
I hope you understand where I am coming from.#justmyview#

    • Common now. She did something. If she had charged them interest would have been ridiculous. She is not obliged to give them the money for free. Why are you nigerian never pleased with anything?.

You think you can get interest free loan in the West, will never happen.

  2. yoruba so wipe ogun ti eniyan ko ba fi owo ra eyin aro ni o ma gbe. Mr DURUMI YOU CAN HELP THEM TOO.STOP COMPLAIN THANK

  3. The idea of a loan is better than making an outright gift because the beneficiaries will be spurred to work hard and in the process better their life if they believe the money in their hand should be paid back. Otherwise they might allow it dwindle without putting in the required effort to make their business stabilize and grow. Moreover, paying back the loan will create avenue for other beneficiaries to also participate in the scheme.
Bless you ma’am and may your labour yield good results!!!

  4. Money blinds and deafness the have….she is blessed ,she has a heart of gold ,surely she hates seeing a child walking bare footed in winter simply because she is a woman who has kids , time will tell ….

  5. WELL, THAT‘S A NICE TRY BUT I THINK A GRANT SHOULD have been more appreciated instead.
Now, what happen to any of the widows who fails to pay back the given money? Call the police or what?

    I take a stroll

    • Brave Hunter, I think that woman had already given them the money but she only want them to be prudent with it. If she didn’t give it to them in form of loan, a lot of people will be patrolling her office for free money. I supported her for doing it that way and the serious ones will definitely make use of that money to better themselves.

  6. WE TEND TO pity and care for widows in some parts of this of the globe that anybody who want to demostrate an act of philantropism is likely to direct such gestures towards :-
    1) The Widows. Widowers not considered.
    2) The Orphans.
    3) Terrorist‘s victims at IDP camps. Etc…

This is highly commendable. But the fact is… not all the widows are poor and financially bankcrupt some of these widows are so rich that they can comfortably feed a whole comunity for 3-6months without any ache.
E.g Mrs. Abacha, (Mariam). Bianca Ojukwu etc…

    I take a stroll…
