Feb 23, 2015 – GEJ Holds Meeting With 10 Yoruba Monarchs In 2 Days: Jonathan Visits Alaafin Of Oyo, Soun of Ogbomoso & Other Royal Fathers, Traditional Rulers In Epe Lagos State

As earlier reported, highly energetic President Jonathan has been campaigning none stop in the South West in order to lure Yoruba voters to the polls using their traditional rulers.

This week alone, Jonathan met with over 10 Yoruba kings where he held secret meeting with each of them.

On Saturday he paid a courtesy visit to the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III at his palace in Oyo State.

He left Alaafin for Ogbomoso where he met with Oba Jimoh Oyewumi, the Soun of Ogbomoso from there, he headed straight to the palace of the Oba Alara of Ilara Epe Akeem Adesanya.

President Jonathan also met with Oloja of Epeland, Oba Kamorudeen Ishola (Arolugbade Elepe II) where he met other less influential monarchs in Epe area of Lagos.
