Oct 31, 2016 – Hotelier Arrested For Forcing Young Girls Into Prostitution In Ijegun Lagos

Mr Victor Obano, a 33-year-old hotel owner whom police arrested at his hotel in Ijegun Lagos over the weekend has confessed that each prostitute in his hotel paid N2,500 daily for using the hotel rooms.

The suspect accused of sourcing innocent girls in Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Edo State reportedly lured his victims with the pretense of getting them jobs, but later forced them to work as prostitutes in his hotel in Ijegun, lagos.

Lagos Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni said the suspect was exposed when he seized the phone of a victim for refusing to work as a prostitute.

The victim’s aunt reported the suspect to SCID Panti Yaba before police stormed the hotel.
