Husband Kills Pregnant Wife For Ritual In Onitsha Anambra: Man Strangles 6 Month Old Pregnant Wife, Throws Her Corpse Down From 5-Storey Building

An unidentified man who divorced his first wife in 2018 has killed his second wife.

The suspect reportedly strangled the 6-month old pregnant woman before throwing her down from a five-storey building at #9, Obosi street Fegge, Onitsha, Anambra State around 10pm.

Here is what a resident of Fegge said about the said incident.

“The suspect was said to have been ejected by the landlord of his former house following the constant beating and divorce of his first wife.

“The suspect and the deceased met at the surgical equipment section of the Onitsha Bridgehead Market.

“As the relationship blossomed, he impregnated her but she later suffered a miscarriage under mysterious circumstances.

“The man quickly paid her bride price last December after the woman took in again.

“After he had killed the woman, he threw her corpse from the last floor of the five-storey building

“We learnt that he was evicted from where he was formerly living for beating his wife and the same thing has happened again. He is a ritualist.”

Another resident said the suspect was arrested before he could flee the murder scene.
