Expected at the event slated for December 1, 2017, are socialites from Ijebu axis of Ogun State, and high profile personalities across the country.

The organiser of the event, Hon. Kehinde Odeneye, a member representing Ijebu Central Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, said:

“The event is not a political or religious gathering. We should have a day to praise God, which is why we choose the first day of the last month for the year to stage the concert. It is a day we want to use to praise God, irrespective of your religion or tribe, which is what we want to use that day for. It is not for Ijebu or Ogun state alone but for the whole federation. I observed we don’t always praise God enough in this country; hence, we want to use that day to praise God.

“It is not for Ijebu people alone, you will notice that in this country people don’t praise God enough, that is why we choose that day, it is not a political or religious gathering but purely a day set aside to praise God and glorify Him for His mercies over us. I believe if we praise God well in this country, we will have the fear of God in our heart.”
