mental slavery for the white man

Seeing Oyinbo man wearing African attire in a nation and continent where majority of our youths are thriving hard to imitate western culture is a good thing. It is total nonsense and lack of wisdom for anyone to suggest that wearing Agbada is a mental slavery for the white man. When white people celebrate African culture by eating our food, wearing our traditional attire, and dancing to our good music should never be referred to as mental slavery by any reasonable African. People should learn to reason and think before speaking and commenting.

Mercy Akhigbe why? Your name suggests that your are a lady. You wear trousers, I believe. You wear T-shirts and polos and stilettos for your feet. Is that mental slavery as well? Or did you mean something else when you said that?

This is very good, though it think generally white people tend to find our culture and food interesting or rather intriguing, however as part of business etiquette it is a sign of solidarity with the host, it help to soften the landing so to speak, you will notice that even Obama puts on Jews cap Kipa when in Israel.without being pessimistic it good to acclimatize yourself with the host so as to achieve your objective at the same time not loosing oneself. on a general note we should give more prominence to our culture and heritage.
