Controversial Inspector General of Police, Hafiz Ringim has resigned.
According to reliable sources, Ringim tendered his resignation letter to the federal government this morning. 6 Other DIGs also resigned. The new acting IG of police is M.D Abubakar, former Lagos State commissioner of police.
