Jonathan Turns Preacher, Likens Nigeria’s Problem To Israelites Journey From Egypt To Promise Land

Jan 11, 2015 – President Goodluck Jonathan Turns Preacher, Likens Nigeria’s Problem To Israelites Journey From Egypt To Promise Land

Goodluck Jonathan turned into a pastor today during the thanksgiving ceremony of his cousin’s daughter, Ine at he Cathedral Church of the Advent, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Life Camp, Abuja.

GEJ told the congregation that just as the Israelites eventually made it to Canaan despite the numerous challenges that confronted them on the way, Nigeria would get to its desired destination.

“This is a period in which the whole world is being challenged, just like some of the passages we read. Whenever I think about all these happenings in Nigeria it makes me remember the journey of the Israelites from Egypt to the Promised Land.

“When God promised they were going to be given a land full of milk and honey, ordinarily one would have expected them to just walk in and get the milk and honey.

“But they had to cross the Red Sea; that was a challenge. They had to meet people like Annas and others. That was a big challenge, but because God wanted them to be there they were able to get there.

“Surely, we will get to where we want to go as a nation. We may have the road bumps, we may have the obstacles but we will crush them and pass them.

“All we want to request is your continued support and your prayers, and we promise we will continue to do our best.”

Oga on top got it wrong here, the Israelites went through a lot in the wildness but they didn’t experience the kind of bloodshed Nigeria is presently experiencing.

This kind of political mind trick should not be allowed inside church.

Can somebody. Pls remind GEJ that Moses was’nt the one that took the Isrealite to the promise land. GEJ has failed Nigerians just as he declared in Lagos campain. We don’t want a failure to rule us anymore. He should therefore return to his village to start a zoo, I believe he will make it there.

What men call foolish is what God will use to confound the wise and those things men refers to as weak are the things God will use to put the strong to shame.
The will of God must come to pass in Nigeria. every counsel of the devil will be frustrated.
The preparation of men for this forthcoming election will “give way” for the will of God to materialize.

It is so shameful how Nigerian criminal and corrupt politicians use religious and tribalism to cover up their imcompentence, mismanagement, corruption and other criminal behaviors. It now clear to millions of suffering Nigerian people that this failed president will say anything blaphaming to cling to power. I have never heard great leader like late Nelson Mandela, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Dr. Nnamdi Azikwe, late Saudana of Sokoto, late Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and host of other successful president/ leaders preaching instead of serving the people’s interests. This criminal president has been in power for six wasted years with nothing good to show for it. And he thinks that Nigerian people are that dumb to cast their votes for an heartless, unpatriotic, corrupt, and most imcompentent president in Nigerian history. This was a man who knees before a popular pastor in Lagos state just few days before the 2011 election begging us to vote him for positive changes. What did we get in return for voting for a wicked man? Few weeks after the election in 2011, he wickedly increased the prices of petrol and kerosene by over 75 % in a scam called fuel subsidy. That resulted to inflation, insecurity, money laundering operations, shattered educational system, leadership failure and mass murder of innocent Nigerians, great hardship to over 170 millions suffering Nigerians. This zoologist turned politician doesn’t know that Nigerian people are not animals in the zoo that he was trained to preside over, but we are real people with feelings, IQ,and we have been betrayed by Jonathan’s disastrous agenda. No amount of his preaching can erase his gross records of failures of the past six years. Surely, president Badluck Jonathan is not a Moses to us, but a judas that betrayed the trust Nigerian people invented in him. Enough of his nonsense and ridicules.
