God bless you@Mr KOK!
You see children nowadays and you are lost as to their age range just because of their suggestive dressing. Parental malfunction shares the chunk of the blames why we have increased rate of child rape cases these days. With a worldly parental ideology, many couples have condoned indecency as it regards to clothing, and overlooked it when their children adopt seminude outfits on occasions. The irony of it all is that they are the ones who express utmost shock whenever there is a paedophile case. Do they not know that they are as culpable as the actual criminal who finally assaults the child?
This reminds me of one church I used to attend those days here in Port Harcourt. It is a church of the high and mighty in Port Harcourt. I won’t mention the name, but for a clue, it is located in Old GRA.
At a time it appeared like what everybody came to church to do was to showcase wealth and fashion trends(Of course this is about women: Men are often innocent of all this pomp and show). You see women with their 6–12year-old children dressed alike, revealing thighs, back, and sometimes cleavages, as though they’re competing for the attention of men. And their reverends hardly touch that topic in his sermons lest he provoke some people. And they make sure they drown each reverend sent to them with gifts. To cap it all, every reverend that serves in that church departs with a brand new car, not Belgium.
And so, with all this, the man of God(or should I say, of the people) treads softly in order not to step on toes, or use basketmouth to block his gifts.
I left that church some 5years ago.

Our 21st century women of africa have adopted western styles of clothing. They have completely abandoned that decency in our styles of clothing that make us to be exemplary in the world. Don’t be surprise that many of this mothers and their daughters are being influenced by what they also watch on the movie too. And sometimes they also see what there friends put on perhaps to the campus or to occasions and because they don’t like to be viewed as being primitive, they therefore have no choice than to join there peers. And that is one of the big reason why we are witnessing this unstoppable trend in dressing and grooming in our society. Many religious leaders too are not also helping matters. @ metu nyetu, just like your experience,I also witness a certain church in my formal area in fact a very popular one which allow all sought of highly provocative dressings from their female members during service. This is in fact uncalled for,it is totally against what christianity stand for. Not just the parents alone but the religious leaders want to also play good roles by inculcating in depth spiritual truth to their members regarding dressing and grooming so as to minimize this public shame many women both young and old do bring on themselves in the society.

True talk KOK, I would only blame d parent of a kid btw 4-10 for dressing in dat manner, bcos if d mother hadn’t bought those clothes for them how would they wear it.
Parents have a lot of responsibility over what their children do, from the clothes they wear, who their friends are, d kind of music they listen to, what their interest are, television programmes they watch, school work, and so on. The list can be endless.

i will keep advising youth like me to stop all this indecent act… thanks mr kanayo and @metu it was a long one but educative… the most funniest aspect of this is that they do this to attract men who are decently dressed… my question is “why do they dress up like that to attract men who dress decently”
