It’s going down at the Millennium Park in Calabar, the capital city of Cross River state, Nigeria on Saturday the 30th of November 2013.

Nollywood movie stars, Kate Henshaw and Rita Dominic will be setting Calabar town on fire tomorrow as they are expected to lead the lightning of Africa’s largest Christmas tree.

Other Nigerian movie stars who will help kick-start the month-long Calabar Christmas festival include Gideon Okeke, Ihuoma Nwigwe and Bryan Okwara.

Cross River’s Governor Liyel Imoke will officially declare the celebration open at Calabar Festival Village in few hours time.
