Turmeric Rice aka Yellow rice, one of the most delicious rice recipes is very easy to make.
The good thing about it is that you do not have to worry about making tomato stew like other rice recipes.
For this recipe, you will need the following ingredients.
- 2 cups of Parboiled rice (long grain)
- 2 teaspoons of Turmeric powder (you can get this in most health food stores)
- 1 teaspoon of curry powder
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder
- A small onion (preferably red)
- 2 cups of chicken stock
- Small red pepper
- Handful of green peas
