Nov 13, 2013 – Nigerian Fuji Musician Melody Yisa Atiba Confirms Arrest In London “I Was Caught With £30,000”

When NaijaGists.com first broke the story few day ago, critics claim it’s not true.

We can authoritatively confirm the arrest of Fuji musician Atiba popularly called Melody for money laundering.

The musician himself confirmed he was arrested by British police when he was caught with 30,000 British Pounds he didn’t declare.

Hear what the Fuji star said:

“I was arrested for not declaring the thirty thousand British pounds I had with me which the British law does not allow,”.

According to the Oyo-based Fuji star, the arrest happened on Sunday the 20th of October 2013 at the London Heathrow Airport.

Melody said he planned to use the money to buy and import musical equipments and personal car for sale in Nigeria.

He also disclosed that he was released after paying the statutory fine for the offence and his balance has been released to him.

    it is not his first time in the uk. He is in uk before me and this is 8th years in uk. So thirty thousand is not much for him at all
