In Loving Memory of Kasisochukwu: A Star that Shone Brightly

It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that we share the heart-wrenching news of the demise of our beloved Kasisochukwu, the cherished second daughter of the renowned Nigerian actor, Nkem Owoh and his esteemed family.

Kasisochukwu, a young lady with an unwavering spirit and an infectious smile, was taken away from us all too soon on June 28th. At the tender age of 24, after courageously battling liver cancer, she bid her final farewell, leaving behind a void that can never be filled.

We, the Owoh family, also known to many as the family of Osuofia,” hailing from the picturesque village of Umunevo Owonta within the Umungwu clan in Amagu, Udi town, Udi Local Government of Enugu State, deeply mourn this loss. Kasisochukwu was not only a daughter but also a beacon of hope, joy, and inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though our beloved Nkem Owoh chose to bear this immeasurable pain privately, refraining from sharing the tragic news on social media platforms or any public statement, it has come to our attention that news of the burial arrangements has found its way to the public domain through various channels.

Kasisochukwu’s vibrant spirit will be honored, remembered, and celebrated as she is laid to rest amidst the warm embrace of her ancestral lands. The burial rites are scheduled to take place on the 24th of August, in our family compound in Enugu State. On this solemn day, her spirit will find solace in the land that has nurtured generations of our family.
