The second marriage of Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has ended in divorce.
Recall that the cute actor abandoned his first wife and son and eloped with the daughter of ex-Kwara Governor Alhaji Muhammed Lafiaji several months back.
Salamat Lafiaji has dissolved the marriage at an Ilorin Upper Area Court over lack of care, abandonment and violence.
Realising that the marriage had lost all the flavour of love and romance, the presiding judge, Hon. R.O. Bakare, said it was very clear to the court that there was no longer love between the couple and that both of them had lost interest in continuing with the union. The court consequently issued a certificate of divorce to Salamat.
Pretty Salamat had approached the court for the dissolution of her marriage to Chatta, claiming lack of care, abandonment and bad attitude towards the matrimonial home as reasons for the divorce suit. Salamat narrated, during hearing, how Chatta turned her into a punching bag. The union, which did not produce a child, was cemented only in April last year.

wonder why she married him, or rather both married each other in the first place. people make the same old mistake all the time, fascination and the big wedding day……. As for him getting married the second time and not working out, obviously there is a problem… i would advise for him to stay away from the marriage idea for a while.. work on himself, possibly professional help like therapy……otherwise it isn’t a good record when one has a history of broken marriages behinde them…He don’t want to be old and lonely at old age
