True non tribal affinitive representations of Nollywood and Nigerian Actors Guild congregation, unlike the joke going on at home in Nigeria where the so called “Nollywood” has become a tool to fight for tribal supremacy. The Nollywood in Nigeria has overtime developed into an organisation where tribal plurality has been stiffled and completely hijacked by a greedy few individuals for their personal gains. Any wonder they keep hopping in and out of court to outstage one another; an inward-looking negative tribal attitude that has gone on for decades which has not served them any good purpose since the end of needless civil war lost miserablly. It’ll serve the entire Nigerian film industry progress if the tribal stranglehold is released to allow Nollywood achive its mandate of promoting Nigerian arts and culture without any tribal colourisations it has assumed over the years.
