One of Oyo State’s most popular monarchs is dead.
The Olubadan of Ibadan, King Samuel Odulana passed away this evening at the age of 101.
According to sources at his palace, he lost consciousness and collapsed about 2 hours ago.
After all medical and spiritual efforts to get him back to life failed, his corpse was taken to a mortuary in the area.
One of this sons, Professor Femi Lana has refused to give out more information to the media as at the time of this report.
Oba Odulana ascended the throne of his forefathers as the 39th Olubadan of Ibadanland in 2007.
