March 2nd, 2017 – Oscar Chuks Okebata’s Killers Arrested: Retired US Soldier Murderers Caught After Selling Victim’s Samsung Phone
The officials of Imo State Police Command have arrested the 4 men responsible for the murder of US army veteran, Chuks Okebata.
The deceased popularly called Oscar was murdered in Atta, Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State on Thursday the 12th of January 2017.
The suspects were caught after selling the Samsung phone of the deceased at N125,000.
Imo State Police Commissioner, Taiwo Lakanu said the Command has concrete evidence that the suspects were behind the untimely death of Mr Okebata.
Lakanu identified the suspects as Promise Uchendu, Kelvin Onyekachi, Stanley Uchechukwu and Chukwu Osondu.

Bravo, Nigeria police. Interrogate them thoroughly to find out who else is/are involved in the plot to carry out this heinous act. No mercy on them. They deserve the death penalty. They took the life of an innocent hard working person.

Before the pronouncement of their death sentencing, I would like to see the state prosecutor doing their utmost to unveil who actually sent them on this killing mission. I don’t mind if the state prosecute make a plead deal with these felons by substituting death penalty to life imprisonment. A lot of people especially fellow forumites are eager to know who actually financed this crime. The reason for this is to show some people that the person who plotted this guy death is within his family. Moreover these suspects must be kept in private cell in order not to interfere with the investigation. Thank God the identity of the perpetrator will be made known very soon.

Rightly said Jilo. Big Aunty Koks please don’t rush to conclusion yet about the wife. If you watched the video closely you will see that the wife put this guy hell (given the clips from the video)and those who know them in Philadelphia. If he had found peace in his house nothing could have made him move back finally to Nigeria leaving his children. Watch the video again you will see the reaction of his children the day their mother forced him out by cops. This was somebody who worked here to make it, bought a house and went home to pick somebody from one remote village only to be messed up. If he were one of those lazy men who depend on their wives earnings to live, it will be a different case. His friends held a rousing wake for him in Philadelphia to show you he is not a lazy man. The wife might or not have sent the assassins after him but she contributed either actively or passively to the whole saga. Jilo made the correct statement.
