September 28, 2016 – Pastor Kumuyi Predicts End Of Recession, Urges FG Not To Sell National Asset

The GO Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, on Wednesday assured Nigerians that the current economic recession will end very soon.

Kumuyi gave the advice during a media conference on the forthcoming Deeper Life Abuja mega crusade tagged ‘A Day of Supernatural Wonders’, scheduled to hold on September 30, 2016 at the National Stadium, Abuja.

The clergy also advised the Federal Government not to be in a hurry to sell the nation’s national asset over the recession.

He said shortly after his arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA) said that the country was not the first to experience economic recession in the world and would soon be out of it as government and stakeholders were brainstorming to proffer solution.

His Words:

“We all know that we are passing through a tunnel but by the Grace of God, we’re going to get to the light at the end of the tunnel, and very soon the Lord is going to give us a turn around and there is going to be a change in our nation.

“Other countries also have gone through and come out of recession, and Nigeria is not the first. We strongly believe that God will bring us out as the government and other stakeholders are working on solutions.”

Speaking on planned sales of the nation’s assets to revive the economy, he advised that the federal government to consider all suggestions and make a concrete decision over the current situation.

However, he urged the government to remain patient on the sale of the assets as it would not be the best decision to solve the problem. He added that God would intervene and bring the nation out of it.

WELL, AS THIS MAN HARDLY PREDICTS on national issues, I want to believe him. This situation is not funny at all. Even those who have the money and could conviniently offer help to the needy now hide their meanness behind recession and Buhari, and refuse to be generous.

A resounding “AMEN !,,” I say to the prediction of the Man Of God. We trust in God’s Mercy and Love for Nigeria and we have asked that HE intervenes in our distress so we now wait in hope.

Why do Nigerians invoke God’s name in the economy that was mutually destroyed by the govt. and the people? I am beginning to suspect the credibility of educational system, I don’t know what folks mean by “sell national asset”. In progressive economy, the right word is privatization; that is, the govt. relinquishes its brainless involvement by given private companies larger percentage for a decent fee and also collect quarterly taxes on every transaction. This is what or how oyinbo folks make money for the development of their country. Pastor or pope do not make predictions in the developed world about the economy only in Africa that this nonsense is well appreciated.

Hello Danti, I believe in God’s prophetic words from true man of God like Pastor William Kumuyi. Why? Even America, Europe, and China, God still rule the affairs of all men and nations. Before anything can occurs in the physical-be it good or warning, God always reveal it to His true servants worldwide. Remember the great famime or hardship due to food shortage in the ancient Egypt, then Egypt was like the U.S in term of military and economy power of the world, God Almighty revealed the coming recession or hardship to king Pharaoh in the dream but he couldn’t interpret or recode the meaning of the dream. But through Joseph gift, favor, and annointing, he interpreted the dream the king. That prophetic revelation through God’s servant-Joseph saved Egypt and the entire world from food shortage, and Egypt became even more powerful and prosperous as a result of that prophetic words. I believe that God Almighty will rescue millions of suffering Nigerians from this recession caused by the greed, embezzlement, mismanagement, looting, and corruption of our past leaders for over 40 years. I say Amen to that revelation sir. May continue to bless, protect, and empower you and your ministry.

The poor and regrettable decision made by the current administration for the purpose of selling our national assets to revamp our prostrate economy is just one more step that further shows the weakness, befuddlement and how untested, unproven and unskilled the economic team and cabinet of buhari led-government have shown themselves to be!

The decision to have our NNPC and NLNGL assets sold is not only silly but outrageous and counterintuitive! This bad decision if carried out, will worsen unemployment problem and shutdown our economy almost instantly and further increase the suffering of the masses. This current administration has refused to learn from history that the past sales of our national assets had yield negative results. The previous sales have barely help the nation’s economy. The current administration bowing low to destructive advice emanating from Dangote and Saraki’s sinister motives will only weaken, deteriorate and further deplete the strength of our already sinking economy.

This men are nothing but selfish, wicked and evil and economic predators seeking for moment like this in the history of our nation to ruin us completely. Many of this greedy and dishonest business men are the same people that took part in ruining and causing the current economy woes.

It is imperative the administration better heed call from eminent nigerians like Pastor Kumuyi and many members of the senate house among others to halt any irrational sales of our national assets. Rather than selling the pillar of our economy,Buhari led-government should look for ways to revive the nonfunctional industries like roiling mills, ajaokuta steel mills,Nigeria machine tools and host of others to create more employment for the teeming youths who are presently losing their jobs as a result of the economic doldrums.

I don’t want to debunk prediction by this Pastor whether it was a spiritual inspired message revealed to him or a made up idea after observing the situation of this nation by coming up with positive hope that things may change for better due to some approaches seen taken by the goverment to tackle the current recession. There are dozens of highly respected Pastors in Nigeria who have made some predictions about situation in Nigeria but their prediction never come to fruition. Notwithstanding, we should not be focusing or depending solely on this prediction but by trying to keep on working on different dimensions to get ourselves out of this mess created by our greedy leaders.

What this pastor said was prediction not prophesy even if that was prophetic, do not let us get carried away by saying that the man of God has said this without making an aggressive move on our part to make that prediction happen. Who knows may be the pastor was just trying to ease your mind by encouraging people to come to that gathering. It has become our perpetual habit that whenever any pastor say something, we just swallow that and fold our arm. I believe that God has answered our prayer but we are left to figure our how to put things in place.

I’m not a pastor but in my own prediction, I have always been positive that Nigeria will change for better. Recession has been happening since Biblical time. We are not going to be the first or the last Country to witness this. There are many things we have learnt by going through recession and these will prepare us on how to handle similar situation better in future. Folks, let’s keep going without relenting or loosing hope, we will surely get there.
