Controversial yet truthful Pastor and the founder of Latter Rain Assembly church in Lagos, Tunde Bakare is back in the news.
In his latest sermon this last Sunday, Pastor Bakare stated categorically that America plans to use Boko Haram to destabilize Nigeria because Nigeria sent out troops to Liberia, an American territory.
He also took swipe at CNN reporter Isha Sesay for insulting Nigerian government during her recent interview on the Chibok girls in Abuja.
Pastor Tunde Bakare also called Nigeria’s First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan an illiterate for her recent news conference on the missing Chibok girls where she used sharing for shedding.
The eloquent pastor said Boko Haram terrorists are incapable of making bombs themselves and that some powerful forces outside of the country are sponsoring them to cause unrest in Nigeria.

pastor tunde i was one of those that agree with you sometimes ago
you can go and check some people even think am part of your church which am not,however about your speach i quite disagree with you america has noting to
do with nigeria problem if at all the western word are parte in the past during colonial rule yes i can agree with you but it was british tha colonise
us they plant their religion on us their way of life etc which you too are benifiting today using name of god and jesus christ to take peoples money
now since gboko haram problem came you never provide any serious solution

Sir, u forgot to tell us how u left ur pastoral calling and diverge into politics. Its quite unfortunate the people u expected much from are the ones who endup misleading the people. u said why can’t nigerian army invade the forest, if ur your daughter were one of them, it will be a different story by now. As for mrs Dame patient Jonathan calling shedding shearing, was that suppose to be a sermon or political discussion on sunday service? Sir u are in better position to interceed on behalf of those children and not criticizing those in authority (bring the girls back to their family).

How senseless and stupid can this man be. What alternative plan have you for Nigeria Mr. Pastor? Is politics part of God’s calling in your sorry life? Because, I see you’re a confused mind whose rhetoric is meaningless and baseless before your audiences. Have you any concrete evidence to back-up you assertion? Or it should be regarded as your usual rhetoric. Many Nations came to aide Nigeria during crisis. The only appreciation you can render is to run their name in mud. Mr. Tunde you sure do have serious issues in your life. Because, I see you’re stepping out of God’s plan that is, if truly, He called you for His mission. I bet if you’ve given the chance of leading Nigeria today. You will fail woefully; Yet will find means to justify your failure.

Why is it that you guys like insulting someone that has a different openion to d ones you have.
This man has an openion and a realistic one to say the least. If you listen to d msg u would realise he has a balanced view of d situation. Big companies, well governed countries etc exist because people have different ideas openion and ways to make things better!
One last thing I want to say is: stop using words like “he is a pastor, not a politician” in d days of the bible prophets have openions about kings and d Kingdom and they prophesy and speak about it. So there is nothing wrong with that either.

AT TIMES I WONDER THE CREDIBILITY AND AUTHENTICITY OF SOME PASTORS. THIS SHOWS BAKARE AS AN ILLITRATE. MAKING MISTAKE IN ENGLISH IS NOT A SIGN OF ILLITERACY. ENGLISH IS NOT OUR MOTHER TONGUE. We Nigerians are too much in a hurry, why cant we wait and see how Americans will do the magic. just relax, follow them, help them, first write down the date they enter Nigeria to help cus nobody know the date they are going back if at all they will go back. If we want to believe Americans are the best help in situation like this, first why don’t we ask why the captured American soldiers by the Taliban fighters are not rescue? depend on what you know as help. Just like many would have believed American were helping Afghan before 2014, but what about now the help time table is expiring this year, is American really ready to go? is 13 years not enough time of help?. The man of God would have just relax and watch American wonder like every others this is Nigeria, when we have problem we need the quickest solution and don’t care about the problem the quick solution will bring. this is the case if American helping Nigeria to bring back the missing girl, Americans will help to take out Boko Haram and all that, you and I have the right to our opinion but is all depends on what we understand about American way of life. I am not here to tell you why America is in Nigeria and what will follow or when will they going back to their country even after releasing the girls and kill the last Boko Haram fight, but just relax you will see how easily it is to fool we Nigerians by the time American have gotten their base in Nigeria after accomplishing their mission. For those of you that can remember how long Americans have been trying to imposed their way of life on us, but there have been no good opportunity like this, now they want to help us believe me or not, this is the most perfect scenario American have been dreaming of. you may have heard of American dreams, but you may not know how they actualise it. now the stage is set, relax and watch Hollywood action movies as it last out and I pray we will all live till the end of the movies and see how it helped. thanks guys.

Pastor Bakere, If you are truly a man of God called by God Almighty, working according to his ways, you are suppose to be seeking for the face of God so as to pray our country Nigeria from the hand of these blood sucking demons. Your prayers should be like Elijah of the old not causing confusion with your yeye grammar. And it is high time you stop pointing accusing finger on persons. what we need from you as Nigerian pastor is your fervent prayer if you are indeed a genuine man of God.

Nigerians hate hearing the truth. That is y nothing is working out. When u tell them the truth, they see you as the enemy and tend to tranish and rubbish whatever you are saying. I just pray they wake up soon and see the clear picture of what is happening before things get out of hand. As for the issue of america, for those idiots that comment before thinking, look at countries that america have intervened in their matter(iraq, afgan). Has normalcy returned to those countries? Behind every uprising in the world, america is always involved either positively or negatively. This same america, predicted that Nigeria will break-up in 2015 and nigerians are allowing them to fulfil that prediction.

Pastor Bakare are you for real? First of all, Nigeria went to Liberia on a peace mission sponsored by ECOWAS and supported by the United Nations. Nigeria did not invade Liberia. Secondly, the whole world have come together to denounce the actions of Boko Haram abduction of Chibok school girls (who are mainly Christians) and America and other Nations have offered assistance to rescue the girls but instead of you to hail those who have come to our aid you are here condemning them. If your daughter is one of the girls kidnapped by this terrorist organization and are being raped, you will be singing another tune. You know who the sponsors of Boko Hram are but because you are feeding from the crumbs from their table you decided to look the other way and attack those who have come to help. Pastor do you like the poverty in the country where the few (Politicians) are the only ones enjoying the wealth of the country. It is clear that the sponsors of Boko Haram are those who vowed to make the regime of Jonathan ungovernable. The retired and current generals of the Army of Northern extraction are the sponsors including your darling General Buhari. NB: Not all the Northern Genarals. When Lamido Sanusi was the Central Bank governor he unilateraly gave federal funds to the people of Kano when there was a disaster there. Who gave him that power? did you make a comment? NO. Boko Haram is killing and maiming your fellow Christians and you are keeping mute simply because of your friendship and vice presidential ambition to Buhari. @Fernandez: you are far from being realistic. Iraq and Afghan Issues has no comparison with Nigeria issue. This quagmire was created by the gluttonous leaders we have in our midst, whose selfish ambitions has blindfolded them to see beyond their noses. U.S went after those whom they believed was the masterminds behind the attacks on their homeland. Do you know how many billions of dollars that was sunk in these countries inform of aids? It is one thing to help people getting on their feet, it is another thing for those people to make themselves available for such help. In other words, Heaven help those who help themselves. Changes cannot be enforced on anyone that is not ready to change. U.S and their allies came to Nigeria on the invitation of the President for help. They did not encroached upon our liberty. The standards by which the America and her allies operated in these countries are quite opposite from ours. Besides, Hundred of thousands of Nigerians today, if not millions prefer to live America’s lifestyles. Therefore, what is truthful in your saying in this regard? If someone is helping you resolving the mess you created out of ignorant, the least you could do to thank the person is rubbing the name in mud? It shows Bakare and yourself has the like minds. How many African leaders have demonstrated as done by the Westerners or at least offer to help in this crisis? Dave,Nelson and other people that are condemning Pator Tunde Bakare, you better watch your mouth and watch the TV over again.He was not totally against them but urging us to be wise even at this our trying period.
There is no need to make any stupid comment about any Pastor or Imam, Pastor Tunde had a revelation and the revelation is coming to pass. Who are the sponsors of Boko Haram, how do they get all those dangerous weapons? We learnt , helicopters drop food and weapons for them, who owns the jet? Has anybody taught of this?

After listening to the preachings of Tunde Bakare, I agree with him on one thing; and that is in the creation of more states. Those clamouring for states are those who wants to be governors or their kith and kins to be governors, senators, reps, local govt. heads etc. They want for their pockets. In the olden days when there were regions, Nigeria was more progressive than today that there are States. A lot of States in the North can not survive without the federal government help. My question is this, why can’t those states who can not survive on their own go back to the states they were carved out from? there is no need parasiting on other states that are hard working and self reliant. Some states in the North were created to siphone government resources and the sweat of Southern states to survive.
