Feb 16, 2015 – Mother Of 3rd Mainland Accident Victim, Owolabi Akindujoye Arrives Lagos From Ibadan, Says Son Left Home To Raise Money For WAEC Examination
It is a happy ending for a petty trader whose son got involved in a fatal accident on the popular Lagos Third mainland bridge last month.
A staff of St Nicholas Hospital voluntered to go on the hunt for the family member of 19-year-old Owolabi Akindujoye who came out of coma last week.
Ibadan-based Mrs Akindujoye, the mother of the victim arrived St Nicholas hospital this morning to pick up her son.
She said Owolabi left Ibadan on Jan 4 in search of work in Ilesha to pay for his WAEC examination but unknown to her, he ended up under Oshodi bridge where he worked as a conductor.
Happy ending! A special thanks to the management of St Nicholas Hospital for treating the boy free of charge.
