This is why it is important to read the news, throat slashing is the latest ritual murder being done by housegirls and drivers.
A lady on my street in Ikeja was murdered like this on Friday
I was not at home then but my sister told me

I agree with you this murder has ritual undertone
Why did they remove her esophagus. May be it will be safer not to have housegirl or houseboy again

There seems to be no end as to the extent Nigerians will go to make money. For someone to commit such murder means the person is truly evil, the devils own.

People really need to go back to the basis. I do not understand why people feel they should employ the services of maids or house-helps or drivers and the likes, before they can get things they could have done by themselves accomplished. Irrespective of your status and schedule, you must create time for yourself, by making your children become responsible and getting things done in or around the house. Some have untamed children they pampered and become too lazy and useless to themselves and the community they resides. I was brought up in a large family, where neither of my parents ever use the help of a maid or house-help. Children should be trained to become self-reliance for future purposes. Yet they go about hiring strangers whom they have no clue about their origin or background to work for them and their family. Most of these people only have house chores to be done, but because they believe they’re working white-collar jobs, is a freebie to be taken chances that could forever dis-stabilizes their lives in an instance. God gave them children to be trained and become helpful them. Instead, they’re using other people’s children in place of their own. In advanced World, only millionaires and the likes uses the services of drivers and maids. But in Naija, little change in their bank accounts and small status in the society qualifies them to hire house help.
God save us from stupid mentality.

I have mentioned this times without number that not until when we begin to apply tougher measure this incessant killing will never stop. As soon as those who commited this brutal act are caught, let the authority slashed their throat too then you will realize that there is going to be a complete halt to these senseless killing. Election is around the corner hence there is a need for human sacrifice by some corrupt politicians to achieve their political objectives. There is one thing that I’m sure of about this killing, there is a close person who knew this woman and used her driver/maid to perpetrate this act. Nigeria has never been like this until when we started third republic. Obasanjo stated this act by killing Bola Ige,since then those merceneries have been taking that advantage to commit their own horrendous crime. They have god father who will command IG to release them unconditionally. Each time that I come across disheartening news like this, it always leave me with the puzzle what kind of legacy are we leaving behind for our children.

There is no smoke without fire. What you sow is what you reap. you can treat your domestic staff like rags without respect for them as a person they are, and you expect them to love you or protect your interest.?

My parent understand this logic so we were thought show all domestic workers love and care as they( our parent) do.We have domestic staff working with in our house, they fight for us,they hear what is going on in the area we live they inform us all. Even when things were down with us we could not pay them there salaries yet they refuse to go and work elsewhere.

We drink gari, eat eba with okro soup without fish together. they never harm us. the way we treat our domestic worker will determine if they can harm us, poison us, be used to harm us or even kill as the case above.. #ShowDomesticWorkerslove.

@James how the **** you arrive at the conclusion of maltreatment? Is there any part of the report mention such things? You need to be careful of what comes out of your mouth. Because the measure with which you judge others shall you be equally judged. You can’t just be running your mouth anyhow. A life had been abruptly caught short by your like minds. Think about it, members of her family could be reading these posts. Besides, the deceased could have been your wife, mother or sister or your girl friend if you have one.
