Pictured above is an unidentified woman with her newborn babies at a market in Awka, the capital city of Anambra State on Thursday the 11th of December 2014.

The woman with triplets reportedly begged onlookers and passersby for money in order to be able to feed her babies.

While narrating her ordeal, the nursing mum said she was sent out of their rented room by their landlord because her husband doesn’t have a job.

  4. In this present civilization, each state in Nigeria must have a program that will address this type of situation instead of wasting state fund foolishly . It is very sad seeing situation like this. In Africa especially in Nigeria we like to brag about our oil resources but we have failed to use the proceed to at least alleviate poverty in our society. There are some civilized countries where they do not have the kind of resources we have yet they have reliable program to keep them going forward. What they did was developing a program and they follow it. In Nigeria, with our abundant resources our citizens go through extreme poverty. I can’t just comprehend our idiocy.
