New CAN President: President Of Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev Supo Ayokunle Takes Over From Ayo Oritsejafor
The Christian Association of Nigeria elected a new leader yesterday at the Ecumenical Center in Abuja.
The President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Reverend Supo Ayokunle defeated Elder Joseph Otubu of C & S with 54 votes to 28.
The announcement was made yesterday by the outgoing President Ayo Oritsejafor.
The election slated for today Wednesday June 15, 2016 was rescheduled for yesterday without notice to prevent the arrest of some CAN leaders.
