August 12, 2016 – Pictures: Stranded Whale Caught At Enu Ama Beach In Ilaje Ondo State Nigeria Butchered Alive By Residents

A huge sea animal that wandered away to a beach in Ilaje area of Ondo State on Thursday has been butchered.

The unlucky whale was still breathing and gasping for breath when some fishermen and beach goers got a hold of it and butchered it alive.

See photos….

Perhaps someone need to educate our people on the importance of wildlife conservation.

Sadly this whale must have ended up in the cooking pots of many of these residents.

Hummmm…. Natures gift to the community. Huh? The importance of wildlife conserva…what? In Naija? For where??? Fresh whale pepper soup jare!

Wait maybe someday, just someday, when a Whale meets you in the water, we shall know if it will spare you for DOMESTIC-Life conservation, wink.
    THINGS CAN ONLY GET BETTER,

    I take a stroll…

Hnmmmmm. Rejoice and be glad my people, nothing do you,is God’s gift. Before you can see a whale on the earth, something terrible would have happen to it in the sea.

Wellll, since there is no known campaign for conservation of whale in recent memory in Naija, the residents can safely claim they didn’t know the ” big fish” was not meant for the soup pot. The likely argument would be that the size of the creature was so overwhelming the entire Community could not lift it back into the sea.
Whatever the situation, the deed is already done and the unlucky whale has provided some lucky break to some villagers in need of extra protein. Any campaign for conservation will only be in aid of future occurrences while this incident goes into History.

THESE days, if I see a careless N10 note lying by roadside, I might even be tempted to pick it. Things have become so hard, yet naijagists is telling us the importance of wild life conservation. In this Buhari dispensation that to even eat once per day is like luxury? This is manner from heaven, in case you don’t know.

A hungry stomach does not have the tolerance to hear a Pastor or Imam preaching. What nature conservation when people are starving? As long as animals are being used for food, not for decoration purposes, that is fine with me. In a country where it is hard to get two standard meals a day for most people, there is no tolerance for animal preservation. God created most of them as food for mankind, anyway. We should learn to respect the sanctity of life and not abuse animals, though. The whale was too wounded to have survived the ordeal, so what other option than to feed hungry people?

Whale have being listed by the “international.
union for conservation of nature”as one of the most endangered species that are seriously at risk of extinction. And of course they have since come out with laws to minimize direct threat to this wild life specie. I hope the IUCN organisation won’t see this as one of the wildlife threat they’ve being ringing as bell through out the globe.
I know very well that my naija people no go hear not to talk of following international law for preservation of wild life in the sea. Am not also innocent to this because I’ve also eaten it in the past when it came to our sea shore close to nigerian border with benin republic. Many residents cut this sea monster with all instruments they could lay their hands on. It was so huge that this monster fish never felt part of it body had being cut on a daily basis for 4 days after which it withdrew into the ocean without dying and left. Very frightening experience to us back then. We ate the fish which was exactly like meat. In fact,it was partly fish and meat. But honestly I just hope the law is being followed to preserve this wild life in the sea in order to prevent them from extinction.

Hahahaha.. @ Naijagist, I laugh in indus!!! Haba, na for this kind harsh weather wey naija youths dey cry say money n food no dey, na im una dey talk of conversation of fresh free sea food sent to the poor youths by Mother Nature?? Honestly make una just thank god say those guys no gather slap una, honesty una sense for upgrade .. (still laughing sef)

Conservation, is sure very important to wildlife.. but not in the naija of today where most people can’t afford a plate of food within 24hrs on daily basis .. Well conservation might come up when our Ogas at the top begin to spread free money and free food everywhere … Hence, I tell u that even a mere agama lizard will barely escape d wrath of angry and hungry kids not to talk of wildlife that won’t even spare the lives of hungry youths talkless of youths spearing theirs in the name of conservation…
This time d language hungry naija youths speak n understands is CONSERVAKILL AND CONSERVACHOP.. NOT CONSERVATION!

Make I hear jare. Naijagist una fit confess say supposing them serve una that meat una no go chop?? One day make naijagist go tell D HUNTER say if he see anaconda make he leave am for CONSERVATION SAKE, when he has all d means n opportunity to carry out CONSERVAKILL N CONSERVACHOP.. n see is HUNTER no go shoot una two legs….
Chaiii I wish say I dey naija oo, I join hands chop that meat jare…!!!

    Happy weekend ppl… And So…..
