March 11, 2016 – Gas Explosion At CBN Office In Calabar Cross River State Kills 10, 30 Injured
There is an update on the explosion that rocked CBN headquarter in Calabar Cross Rivers State today.
According to fire officials at the location, it started around 12:30pm.
We gathered that it was a gas explosion.
Bank staff and relatives were seen crying at the gate of the bank.
However officials said the explosion was caused by a cylinder leak during a welding operation at their new construction site. CBN today said there is no fatality yet.
Unconfirmed source said 10 people died while over 30 were injured.
