The battle between President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and the Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi is going strong. The two political rivals are at it again.
We learnt few minutes after Governor Rotimi Amaechi and his body guards returned from the burial of late deputy governor Funmi Olayinka in Ekiti state, Nigeria’s National Airspace Management Authority operatives refused to give the governor a take off clearance.
The governor and his aides were left stranded for hours in Akure today.
We’re still unsure why this happened but an intense clash between the two politicians might have contributed to the whole thing.

It’s rather sad that it’s only in Nigeria that you see a Governor purchasing a private jet, so sad.
There’s hardly on Governor in American who has his/her own private jet, even the Prime Minister of United Kingdom does not have one. Need i say no more.

Call it whatever u guys want, I stand on the grounds that an open confrontation between a commander in chief and a governor is a shame on Nigerian’s face. Amaechi has nt done anyfin wrong confronting GEJ over national issue. If he has, then he should be sued not denied his sole fundamental human right.
