Prof Wole Soyinka’s On Nelson Mandela’s Death “The Soul Of Africa Has Departed”

Dec 6, 2013 – Prof Wole Soyinka’s On Nelson Mandela’s Death “The Soul Of Africa Has Departed”

Nigerian novelist Wole Soyinka has written a short but powerful tribute to late South African President Nelson Mandela who died last night at his home in Johannesburg at the age of 95.

Read what 79-year-old Soyinka wrote about the late icon:

“The soul of Africa has departed, and there is nothing miraculous left in the world.”

May his soul rest in perfect peace.

D same goes 2 Achebe. Wole is not left out. What about u two? What hv u achieved? Yet u hv d gut 2 wish ur fellow human being death. May God hv mercy on u two.
