Sept 29, 2012 – Qatar Airline Flight Makes Emergency Landing In Lagos, No Injuries Reported
A Lagos-bound Qatar Airline Flight #592 from Doha made an emergency landing at Murtala Muhammed Intl Airport in Lagos, Nigeria today. naijagists.com
We learnt the passenger plane, flight QR592 with hundreds of passengers on board hovered at the Lagos airport for close to an hour as its tyres lost pressure and refused to come out for landing.
The experienced pilot quickly radioed the airport’s emergency department (control tower) for precaution.
Firefighters, security operatives and Julius Berger’s equipments were brought in to the emergency spot.
As at the time of this report, the Qatar Airline flight 592 has been successfully towed from the runway to it’s assigned landing gate with no injuries reported.
