Ras Kimono Manager Is Dead: How Ras Kimono’s Wife Efemena Okedi Died Of Loneliness And Hypertension After Losing Best Friend & Companion

It is no longer news that Raggae legend Ras Kimono has died.

What baffled many followers of the late icon is the demise of his wife and manager, Efemena Okedi.

Efe passed away in the wee hours of Sunday the 23rd of September 2018 at the home she shared with Kimono before his demise.

According to family sources, since her husband and the father of her only child passed away on the 10th of June 2018, Efe has remained inconsolable.

Efe reportedly withdrew from social functions and refused to be consoled, giving many reasons to express concern about her survival after the untimely death of her husband.

Kimono married Efe after he parted ways with his first wife, Sybil, the woman he spent a greater part of his life with, and who bore him three daughters and even went on to manage his career for years.

Both of them relocated to the United States after some time. And that was the last people heard of them. A few years back, Kimono returned all alone and was being managed by Efe Okedi, and just like it happened between him and Sybil, they also fell in love, started living together and ultimately had a daughter, who is Kimono’s fifth child.

Her friends said since Kimono passed on in June, they fear that Efe who couldn’t do anything without her husband might not live long.

Sadly, what they feared most came to pass in the early hours of yesterday when she died of hypertension caused by loneliness.

Her only daughter is now in the custody of her relations.

May her soul rest in peace.

Love and miss you both to the bone.

Make God keep and protect the innocent child left behind.

Sleep well till we meet at Jesus feet.

    RIP
