According to previous reports, Ruth was a victim of a knife-wielding insane man who cut off her arms in a brutal attack in Nigeria few months ago

Since the attack, 19 year old Ruth and her parents have been praying for a miracle.

Yesterday the 12th of Nov. 2012, Ruth got her prayers answered as she receives a new Prosthetic Arm at Johnson’s Orthopedic Appliance in Riverside, California.

Ruth was sponsored by Nigerian couples identified as Tunde and Titi Akinremi who founded a support group for the disabled in Africa.

They came to her rescue after reading a newspaper publication about her predicament.

The couples who didn’t waste anytime came to her rescue through their non-profit organization.
