Waka queen Salawa Abeni was among the dignitaries spotted at the recently concluded Ojude Oba festival in Ijebu Ode.

Ojude Oba is an annual festival whose main purpose is for the people of Ijebu (especially Muslims) to come together as one to honor their king and is regarded as one of the biggest in West Africa.

Salawa Abeni was born in Ijebu Waterside Local Government area of Ogun State on the 5th of May 1961. She attends the festival yearly.
