August 11, 2017 – Nigerian Athlete Salwa Naser Who Won Silver Medal For Bahrain In London Shuns Athletic Federation Of Nigeria

A 400metre Silver medalist at the ongoing IAAF World Championships in London, Salwa Naser has shunned the Athletic Federation of Nigeria.

The athlete who won silver medal for Bahrain yesterday said she is really glad she chose Bahrain over Nigeria.

The 19-year-old who set new records yesterday to achieve her dream was asked if she had anything to tell the Athletic Federation of Nigeria, here is what she said:

    didn’t some Nigerian athletes just return the other day due to lack of funds? what’s there to say? the girl should be proud of her achievements and is not answerable to anyone,ride on girl your country is proud of you,if you were with Nigeria you wouldn’t have gotten this far because you would have been on that plane headed back to naija due to lack of funds,Nigeria is a disgraceful nation.
