We learnt the flood which started early last month after Lagdo Dam in Cameroon broke has killed over 100 people and as many as 50,000 people have been displaced.
In his address this morning, the presidency has directed the release of emergency funds to help secure the flood-ravaged states in Nigeria.
Several philanthropists including Aliko Dangote has donated several millions of Naira to flood victims.

The minister’s place is not among the area the flood affected most. I only advice her 2 visit the areas like Aguleri and anam and sympatise with them and God will bless her.
