Jan 21, 2015 – Stop The Attacks!!! I’m A Blogger Not A Paid Nigerian Journalist

The reality is not so black and white. Bloggers have diligently investigated and reported news stories that had been ignored and eventually made it to mainstream news outlets, and professional journalists have reported unverified, unreliable and ultimately false stories as fact.

Bloggers may be subject-area experts with deep professional training, experience and knowledge of a topic that is often greater than a journalist but they are often reliable with information.

In Nigeria most journalists and media outlets are paid to write make-believe story while MOST bloggers are usually people who write their opinion on subject matters.

Most Bloggers are unique in that they write their view point on a subject matter after sharing a news story.

Those of you attacking for being paid by political parties, get a life.

God is my witness, I’m never paid by any political parties, I have turned down several political ads to avoid this kind yeye accusation.

So next time you come across a story here you don’t agree with, no biggie, say your own view point and let it rest.

For my loyal fans, that has been with me since the last 8 years, you all know that I investigate stories very well. Yes I don’t carry gabbage news and I will never do.

I do get regular invitations to press conferences but I don’t attend all of them especially when it involves politicians. is known for carrying authentic stories and breaking news. I better my colleagues in that I go further to investigate stories by contacting the parties involved for confirmation and photo evidence.

My modes of operation is unique and different from all other bloggers out there, I investigate stories and yes I gossip and love to give the latest gist in town… that is what stands me out.

Fans I appreciate you, attackers, keep it coming… I believe most of my attackers are paid to throw the punch but it is alright…

It is a free world isn’t it? But don’t take your freedom for granted. One love!

Your down to earth approach is what keeps me coming. I see you as anti pdp in the past months however I’m not surprised because the same platform supported jonathan during his election years ago.
I have been on the site since 2012 when it was on naijan.
Here is my take on all this, you don’t have to please everybody.
Do you job and continue doing it, don’t give a chance for those attackers to get to you.
Lastly as a brother, I will say you don’t leak your private information to the public like your address, your family name and so on.
    keep up dah gud wok

Thanks @Steve, i thought i was the only one who saw the anti-Johathan/PDP post since few months back, Jonathan has falied this country, i am even more worried abou Buhari, if he wins n he is good, Nigeria will be ok in the next 8 yrs n if it happen he has evil plans, Nigerians will have to suffer in the next 8 yrs, if Jonathan is the best candidate pdp can provide, then pdp is a dead party.

I agree with you, the fact that you’re not on politicians payroll gives you the freedom to speak the truth but others like Vanguard punch and co can’t do nothing of such.

This is why I prefer blogging platform to traditional news media.

Infact you are three much my sister.

I agree with the other commentators, if Punch or Vanguard or PM reject ads from politicians, the FG might shut them down so they are very diplomatic in reportage.

Those blogger or critics of money are they not also our Nigerians? Maybe is jealousy. If they have an opportunity to collect money from anywhere they will. So do not let this border you since your mind and hands are clean. Please keep writing we like reading. It helps us to be very cautious of our lives.

Collecting money is bribery. Bribery is not good for anyone to involve self in. One get rich fast and then regret in future. Receiving bribe is like receiving curses because that money did not come from a person heart with prayers and blessing.
