Officials of Rivers state Police command yesterday paraded one Ifeanyi Ezechukwu and Chinedu Amadi for allegedly kidnapping the landlady of Ezechukwu and her son in a bid to obtain ransom and pay his overdue rent.
The suspects were paraded alongside 6 other criminals in Rivers State yesterday.
The abduction reportedly happened in Umuanwa area of Ikwerre LGA of Rivers state over the weekend.
The master planner, Ezechukwu admitted to conspiring with his friend, Amadi to kidnap his landlady so as to find money to pay his N70,000 overdue rent.
He confessed that they were arrested after collecting N200,000 ransom.
