tithing mandatory commandment

December 5, 2017 – Tithing Is A Mandatory Commandment For Every Lover Of Jesus…Beware Of Devil Agents Seeking Mass Attention

By Chris P.

With everything in me I can tell you that paying of tithes is compulsory and a must for every Christian.

Any pastor, bishop or general overseer that said tithing is not compulsory is simply seeking mass pity, attention and cheering of fools, the old testament can not be removed from our bibles, even those who say tithing is old testament still uses exodus and genesis to preach.

Every old testament scriptures that did not pass the Jesus test was changed by Jesus.

1. killing of animals for sacrifice Jesus changed it.
2. going to Jerusalem to pray, Jesus said time shall come when you neither go to Jerusalem to pray every where is a sanctified place to worship your God.
3. marrying more than one wife, Jesus changed that too.
4. not literally working on the sabbath day, Jesus changed that too.
5. an eye for an eye blood for blood Jesus changed that too.
6. and many of such doctrine or the so called old testament Jesus verbally spoke against it and his direct apostles then.

But the matter of tithes was not condemned by Jesus, and mind you he never spoke against it not because it escaped his memory but because that order still remains VALID in the kingdom.

1) Does Christ approved payment of tithes and  offering?

Open along with me to Matthew 23:23:

(Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone).

This means he was pointing to them that not just about paying tithes but also fulfilling the other spiritual obligations to have a balanced Christian life, this also means that if they have been keeping the other Christian and godly principles without paying tithes Jesus will still rebuke them and ask them to pay tithes, oh yes! the scriptures can’t be broken, not for any man, you must fulfill all that is written for the bible says if you stumble in one like in tithing then you are guilty of All.

Since no adjustment was made in reference to Malachi 3:10 either by Jesus or the apostles it simply means that that order and commandment still remains Valid, Operational and Lawful and that portion made it even more scary when God said ye rob me of your tithes and offerings, this means God never said ye rob the Levites of the tithes and offerings I asked you to be giving them, rather he said ye Rob Me! for God to bring himself into such a scene means that tithing is a serious BUSINESS AND NO BELIEVER SHOULD JOKE WITH IT.

I don’t care the millions of people coming to your church or the miracles God is using you to do, TITHING IS A MANDATORY LAW UNTIL JESUS SAYS OTHERWISE, AS LONG AS HE NEVER SPOKE AGAINST IT WHILE ON EARTH NEITHER DID HIS DISCIPLES DID, THEN MALACHI 3:10 REMAINS AS VALID AND LAWFUL TO EVERYONE WHO LOVES JESUS.

  1. Hebrew 8:6-13 made it clear that we are no longer under the law of the Old Testament, that was part of the reason why Christ destroyed the temple of God to bring end to the old convenant. We are reading the Old Testament to learn from it and not to keep or observe it’s law. If the temple God and it’s covenant will save us Christ will not have need to build his church. We are on a better covenant which Christ is the mediator. Hebrews 8:7 says if the old covenant is faultless there would no need for the second. We are no more under law to give to God a particular ratio but we are at liberty to give to God as proposed in our heart, as God has prospered us, that is the new covenant. We should allow the love of money to drag us into what has been abolished, it is a sin.

    • Daniel is among the few that have seen the truth and have not allowed themselves to be blinded and govern by popular religious believe and practise that is the chief cornerstone of so many christian denomination today. Just to buttress your point my friend, Romans 10:4 says “christ is the end of the law”. Which law? The ancient law of moses that permitted priestly work and tithing in the temple. He ended it by shedding his own blood. He is the high priest. Even bible scholars know fully well that christians are no longer under the mosaic law or the law of moses that permitted tithing. And the bible confirmed it by telling us that jesus christ has ended that law by shedding his blood once and for all according to Romans 10:4. This is not confusion, but a biblical fact that is not obscure to anyone who is conscious of his spiritual need. Unfortunately, few ones that are digging deep into God’s inspired word, the bible, are the ones seeing the truth.

      • Read your bible well.Jesus did not abolished the laws and of the prophets, but to fulfill them.we are still obeying the ten commandments, the are still lawful and righteous laws.Ezek.184-6.

        • This is why most of you church goers are lost because you often listen to your pastor rather than finding out the truth on your own! The “law of moses” and the “Ten commandment” are two completely different laws. Do you know that? Deutaronomy 31:9 made it very clear that “moses wrote the law and delivered it onto the priest the sons of Levi, who bore the ark of the covenant of the true God and unto all the elders of isreal ”. This is why this law written by moses is commonly refer to as the “law of moses“ or the “mosaic law” because is was directly written by him and not God. The Ten commandment is quite different from the “law of moses” in that, it was written directly by God himself. So they are different. It is the law of moses that apostle paul was referring to when he wrote in the bible book of collossians 2:14 that jesus “blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us which was contrary to us. He took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross”. So my friend do you now see that jesus christ death has already remove out of the way the “law of moses” which tithing was part of according to malachi 3:10? Tithing was part of this law of moses that has been removed by christ death. Christian are not expected to pay what is called (TITHE) as christ has abolished that law that permitted it. What we christians are asked to pay in the church is recorded in the book of 1corinthians 9:7 which says“ let each of you give what you have decided in your heart to give, and not RELUCTANTLY or under COMPULSION, for God loves a cheerful giver”. Christian are asked to make voluntary donation in the church and not tithe that made it a compulsory act during the ancient isreal before the arrival of jesus. There is huge different between tithing and voluntary contribution Christian are asked to pay in the church. The problem we christians have is, we often find it very, very difficult to change our longstanding religious believe when we’ve seen the truth. I will advice that we not just to read the bible on our own, but to make in depth research in order to acquire the “accurate knowledge of God” and not just follow what my pastor says.

  3. Paying your tithe every minute will not get you into the kingdom of God! All these loud mouths and fake pastors should be quiet, salvation of every soul is the main theme of Christianity and cannot be bought or inherited. This is what motivate money focused pastors to establish church “business “ . Tithe is just a tax to help the needy and maintain house of worship! God does not spend money and by the way, Jesus birth and death have sealed the deal for those who are born again and sincerely follow his teachings. Students of anachronistic pastors, beware of misleading messages, give what you are conscientious okay with,do not borrow to pay your tithe or inconveniently pay your tithe and borrow to live. Folks, please, be wise and respect positive and negative appendages of money.

  4. WHO IS Chris P.? What a name? Are you for real? What‘s this one saying? Are you a musician or a rapper?
Maybe you are a rapper cos I can‘t see you backing your baseless argument with any Bible verse. You just rap, that‘s all.

There‘s nowhere in the Holy Bible where anything is under mandatory towards serving God in Christendom.
    Christianity is not like islam.

    I take a stroll…

  5. I foresee bad market for the pastors who turn Church to business Malachi 3:10 is their favorite quote. Many thanks to Freeze and co. for opening our eyes

  6. John 17.17 say the word of God is truth, what the writer say is true, nobody can change the word of God..Rev.22:18-19. A good Christian should fear God and keep his commandment, paying your tithes is one of his commandment. G

  7. But why more emphasis on tithing instead of salvation?
I pay my tithes but I don’t do so for a pastor to take note because I don’t even come up to alter to be prayed for, I do that secretly not allowing my left hand to see what my right is holding.
It is between me and my God and it should come from my heart
I was in a Church last Sunday as one man of God said that he knows some people that have never approached the altar before to pay their tithes and I was wondering if he is the one that needs it or God.
    salvation first!
Giving to God should come from your heart.

  9. When you quote Bible verses out of context, you heap confusion on yourself.
Chris P,in Like 17:14, Jesus said to the. Lepers “Go shew thyself to the priest”.

Because in the old testament, you must show yourself to the priest to be examined for rites of cleansing. Now you must imagine therefore that Jesus must have endorsed that also right? If you don’t agree he endorsed that then you are one of the tithe merchants who are fleecing the flock of Christ.

Apostle Paul who laid the foundation for Christian theology and received so much revelations never ever received or paid tithes.

Firstly, do you even know that tithes are permitted to be received only by Levites. Levites does not mean the name of the people. It means they are descendants of Levi.

Jesus is a descendant of Judah. Apostle Paul is a descendant of Benjamin. So Jesus who is Lord knows he has the authority to receive tithe but he didn’t neither did he mention it.

Now the scripture you quoted was a fair reflection of your unusual incomprehension. Jesus talked about tithes then just as he commanded the lepers to show themselves to the priest because the NEW TESTAMENT has not been activated yet.

So while Jesus was living, he was still under the principles of the Old Testament preparing for the New Testament which he came to usher in.

Why then do tithe merchants collect tithes? Because it has to do with money. They collect even from widows and fishermen and other exempt groups who are not permitted to pay tithe.

If you give God a tenth part of your income under the New Testament..it’s a commendable act of honor to God NOT an obligation and certainly not to be gotten by spiritual blackmail.

  10. Chris P, you didn’t approve of my comments because you saw the TRUTH and ran away like I thought you should.
Please don’t mention anything about paying tithes again or any subject you have not done sufficient research on.

There is revolution in the body of Christ and it’s like a moving train. You can’t stand on the way.

  11. I want to say that, tithe is different from free will donation and therefore don’t support the way it is being spoken about by some ministers. The first time tithing was mentioned in the Bible,it was Abraham who did it, he did it by spiritual Revelation, there was no commandment to back up such action, just like Abel knew that it was blood God required and will require. After that,it was given as a commandment from God to Moses and to the isrealites, for the Levites.A change from levitical priesthood didnt put an end to tithe paying, for those who recieve tithe today, are chosen as priests, after the order of Melchizedek.God called violators of tithe commandment, Robbers, He magnified many laws and he said clearly that they should pay tithes,he did not give any other order on how ministers should be paid, neither did the holy spirit in Peter. Paul said in 1cor.9:13_14 that, it is God’s ordination for those who preach the gospel to live of the gospel. Every child of Abraham today,
    should pay tithes.

  12. I repledge to God my Maker to keep paying my tithe till I die….#noAPOLOGY
I’m a proud payer of TITHE!
I don’t pay it to pastor but to God
things of the spirit can never be explained using any psychology.
tomoro, bobrisky will. tell the Christians with no good foundation, ‘Jesus and paul must be gay for they married not’.
    freeze of all fifu!
    comman beat me

    • God bless you…. children of the world are now our teachers in the Bible… imagine a gay activist preaching about tithe, or open lesbian speaking on kingdom issues… the worst thing is that those who don’t even know the world approve them since those people are their mentors…

  13. Tithe was never from the Law .infact the first tithe was paid by Abraham 400year before the Law.(Gen 14:17-20).Tithe was just sustain under the law and was more or less a commandments. Abraham paid tithe to Melchizedek who is a re incarnate of Christ(Gen 14:18-20)on behalf of all isrealite and Melchizedek blessed Abraham in return .In other words the first person that tithe was paid to was Christ though through Melchizedek.Though jesus did not lay much teaching on christ except in few cases.(mattew 23:23)but also there is no single portion of the scripture where he speaks against tithe subject. While he was having major problem with the pharises was that they are majorly concern about tithing without minding it source and at the expenses of its payer’s salvation. As far as Christ is concern,God accept your person before he accept any thing you brought to him.Genuine salvation should be the priority before giving and not other way round.Spirit filled Christian who are heavenly bound will never joke with their payment ot tithe
