Nollywood Actress Tonto Dikeh Calls Out Ini Edo and D’banj for Stinginess and Betrayal
Prolific Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, who is also recognized for her political endeavors as the former deputy gubernatorial candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State, has ruffled some feathers in the entertainment industry. The actress recently expressed her discontentment with her fellow actress, Ini Edo, and renowned musician, Oladapo Oyebanjo, better known by his stage name D’banj.

In an unfiltered post on her Instagram page, Dikeh called out her colleagues, accusing them of stinginess, and even went as far as labeling D’banj as a traitor. However, the actress refrained from diving into the specifics of the alleged betrayal, leaving her followers and fans with more questions than answers.
Through her candid post, Dikeh shared her feelings of disappointment in D’banj and Edo’s lack of generosity. Her claim was not subtle as she insisted that the two popular celebrities were stingy. Without mincing words, Dikeh advised her fans to never rely on D’banj and Edo if they were in dire need of help as she was of the opinion that they weren’t the types to lend a helping hand to others.
“D’banj is not one to extend a helping hand, but I’ve always told his friends that it’s pointless to keep their hopes up. He doesn’t have a generous bone in his body!” she lamented in her Instagram post.
In her fervent tirade, Dikeh singled out D’banj and Edo as particularly miserly, implying that their inclination to withhold was habitual. She warned her followers, saying, “Whether you’re fighting to stay alive or just scraping by, never turn to these people for aid.”

Dikeh didn’t stop there but also insinuated that D’banj was a cunning character. She metaphorically described him as a “master of hide-and-seek” and even implied that he was the type to profit from selling sand to the beach, highlighting his ability to capitalize on any situation.
Furthermore, she conveyed her resentment towards D’banj by stating, “You are too much of a traitor if not, I would have stood up to a lot of your nonsense. But Dee, you deserve as much pain.”
She ended her post with a somewhat ominous message, hinting that D’banj might face more difficulties in the future, “Sadly, more hurt is on the way.”
The actress’s frank expressions have stirred up a maelstrom in the entertainment industry. While some support her for speaking out, others condemn her for airing dirty laundry in public. As the story continues to unfold, fans are waiting for responses from D’banj and Edo, wondering how this online spat will affect their relationships within the industry and beyond. The saga of these intertwined lives in the spotlight, riddled with allegations of betrayal and stinginess, has become a heated topic of discussion in the Nigerian entertainment world.
