OAU Ranked Best University In Nigeria, Obafemi Awolowo University Students Jubilate

OAU campus is filled with excitement today after being ranked first on the list of 50 best universities in Nigeria in 2014.

According to the latest ranking results released by Webometrics on Monday, Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile Ife Osun State is now the best University in Nigeria.

On the ranking, Covenant University in Ota Ogun state came 2nd followed by University of Ibadan in Ibadan Oyo state. Last on the list is Tai Solarin University of Education in Ijagun, Ijebu Ode.

    arrant nonsense my skul is no where to be found in dis list. come to think of it wat are the requirement of dis ranking is de infrastructure, numbers of professors de skul ve produced, the academic performance of student or the age of de institution?

    ABU is supposed to be first. Is outstanding and my university. How can Ilorin,Lagos uni together with those other uni be above ABU on the list. Please go back and redo your findings and put ABU first. That uni is the best. Thanks

    where are all this universities in the world ranking,stop all this ranking of a thing nigeria university certificates cant do you anything any where in the world.this schools dont have infrastructures,no mordern laboratories,no computers facilities in all this schools.

    Laugh wan kill me. Chuo dem don sit, downn analyse am, pick the their choice, una dey house dey query their choice una go tey dia o. But my own be say wetin. Federal uni oye ekiti get? It is newly founded no graduate yet and yet the authority place it above yaba na wah oooo

    the list above is absolute rubbish… what is d criteria for compelling d list in d first place?? i strongly disagree wit some of the rankings
    1) what is auchi polytechnic doing on the list?
    2) why is Ambrose Ali uni(where exam malpractice nd cult activities rules) ranked above schools where serious learning is d order of the day e.g Eksu and AAUA.
    3) Which of the national open universities??? abi na all of dem good?
    4) if Landmark and Madonna are that high on this list then ABUAD shud be been ranked above 32nd. Thou d school is young but they have set a very good standard for others.
    5) what is Federal university Oye doing in No 17??? while beta schools r ranked below. thou i don’t really av much against d first 6 positions, but frm 7th -50th is nonsense!

    The more you can pay this organization, the more they rate you higher,these are PDP rating,some schools has no graduate yet it was listed,some school with epilepsy academic calender such as OAU,was rated high. yeye dey smell Nigeria certificates, you better go dey do your okada,keke napep work,4get about these paper certificate. what has Nigerians universities discovered or invented?

    As frustrating as Michael Okpara University, they made 37. Useless and busy producing students with low grades.
