We can confirm with you that she passed on to glory last night of sickle cell Anaemia complication.

According to her younger sister Obruthe Bucknor, Oluwatosin popular called, Tosyn Bucknor gave up the ghost at age 37 at her home in Lekki Lagos on Monday night.

Obruthe said her Australian hubby who also works in Lagos, Mr Boyer Aurelien returned home on Monday night only to find the lifeless body of his wife.

Before her untimely death, Tosyn didn’t show any sign of illness.

What Killed Tosyn Bucknor

Meanwhile some inside sources said she committed suicide due to unbearable pain caused by her health condition but this is not a thing her family will like to leak out.

She reportedly overdosed on an undisclosed drug during one of her usual pain crisis last night.

“It is indeed a sad story for a woman who has managed the condition for 37 years to give up just like that. She must have had enough of the unbearable pain. Let no one blame her if you know how much she has suffered alone, you will feel for her. I don’t know why she did it but as her good friend, I know she tried. “ – said the source who requested anonymity.

Although this can’t be confirmed, another source close to Tosyn said her family are waiting for autopsy report.

However, no foul play was suspected on the part of her husband.

Tosyn left behind her mother, husband and four siblings.
