Nollywood actress Toyin Aimakhu has openly apologised to the family of cancer patient Mayowa Ahmed for falsely accusing them of fundraising scam.
The actress said she over reacted when she reported the matter to police on Thursday.

I thought as much. A patient with Ovarian cancer stage IV and someone is saying they are raising money for surgery…There are so many scams activities in Nigeria.Stage IV cant be cured by surgery,only palliative treatment ,which the patient will eventually die on the long run.The patient does not need all this trauma at this stage in life…Shame.
