At least 4 persons died yesterday in a fatal accident that happened on the Lagos Ibadan Expressway.
Around 10:50am, a Sino truck running on top speed pushed an Urvan bus carrying passengers into a river beneath the Kara bridge on the aforementioned highway.
Only 2 out of the 6 passengers in the Urvan bus survived the tragic incident.
The bodies of the deceased have been transferred to the Olabisi Onabanjho University Teaching hospital in Sagamu while the injured are currently receiving treatment at the Lagos State Emergency Centre.
The driver of the speeding truck and his conductor have been arrested and detained at Akute Police Headquarter in Akute Ogun state.
