Jaiye Aboderin Elder Brother Dies 2 Weeks After Open Heart Surgery In Lagos
A man who changed the face of journalism in Nigeria has died.
Mr Wale Aboderin gave up the ghost around 6:05am yesterday Wednesday the 3oth of May 2018 after succumbing to an infection.
According to close sources, the US-trained commercial pilot had an open heart surgery at a private hospital in Ikoyi Lagos two weeks ago but later developed an infection which eventually took his life.
His corpse has been moved to LUTH from the First Cardiology Consultants, Ikoyi as family begins burial arrangement.
The deceased is survived by a wife, Titilayo Aboderin and two daughters Cherelle and Nicole Aboderin.
Late Wale Aboderin is the son of Punch Newspaper founder co-founder, Chief James Olu Aboderin who was succeeded by late Chief Moyo Aboderin.
After Moyo’s death, Chief Ajibola Ogunshola took over before handling over the empire to Wale Gbadebo Aboderin aka Wayne Aboderin who passed away at age 60 yesterday.
The deceased is the elder brother of late Jaye Aboderin, the ex-husband of Stella Damasus who died in 2004.
