Feb 17, 2014 – Walter Oyatogun Is Dead: NTA Sport Broadcaster Dies Of Stroke

A popular reporter that worked at the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA in the early 70 and late 80s, Pa Walter Oyatogun has passed on.

According to his daughter, the veteran broadcaster lost his long time battle to stroke over the weekend.

Moyo Oyatogun, a reporter at Star FM made this known today.

Here is a press statement the family released:

“With deep hearts, we the family of Oyatogun, announce the death of our loving father, husband, grandfather and friend, Walter Oyatogun, a sport man, boxer and a wonderful person. A man that has held the sport world for a very long time and also trained so many athletes. Truly you have created an impact in our lives and you will always be in our hearts.”

May his soul rest in peace.
