Do you think Donald Trump have much regard for Nigerians? May be not much.
Going by a special report NY Times released on Saturday, the American leader allegedly denigrated Nigerians at a meeting with his officials at a meeting in June.
The meeting had been called to discuss the immigration policy which he had introduced to stop travellers from several Muslim countries from entering the United States in a dramatic demonstration of how he would deliver on his campaign promise to fortify the nation’s borders.
The policy was later voided by the court.
Trump was said to have hit the roof after he was handed a list of foreigners who had been granted visas to enter the U.S. in 2017.
Forty thousand of such were Nigerians.
A fuming Trump, according to officials present at the meeting, said once they had seen the US they would never “go back to their huts” in Africa.
He also had unkind words for Haitians who had sent 15,000 people.
They “all have AIDS,” he reportedly grumbled.
He branded Afghanistan, which had 2,500 of its citizens getting US visa, a terrorist haven.
The NYT said: “As the meeting continued, John F. Kelly, then the secretary of homeland security, and Rex W. Tillerson, the secretary of state, tried to interject, explaining that many were short-term travellers making one-time visits. But as the president continued, Mr. Kelly and Mr. Miller turned their ire on Mr. Tillerson, blaming him for the influx of foreigners and prompting the secretary of state to throw up his arms in frustration. If he was so bad at his job, maybe he should stop issuing visas altogether, Mr. Tillerson fired back.
“Tempers flared and Mr. Kelly asked that the room be cleared of staff members. But even after the door to the Oval Office was closed, aides could still hear the president berating his most senior advisers.”

As an American woman of African descent I am often times deeply saddened for Africa. I wonder why so many Africans leave and are educated in Europe and America and then abandon Africa. Only to be taught by white men how to speak like them, look like them, think like them and how to produce to keep them rich. They subsequently learn to hate their own people and homeland. This shouldn’t be. Why not take the knowledge and information they’ve acquired, return home and build up their countries. Build up their own learning institutions, medical centers and communities. Be taught how to love their homeland, their culture and people.

Yes, and that is yet another reason for Africans across the world to embrace Garveyism, the philosophy of “African togetherness,” instead of depending on American and European societies for uplift. Nigeria and the rest of Africa are potential powerhouses. We just have learn to recognize and appreciate our strengths and weaknesses. Please take a look at Marcus Garvey’s philosophy.

If you have never said something similar you can crucify him. We’re all guilty of such dirty talk; the Yorubas in Lagos (omo Eko) will refer to other Yorubas ( Ondo , Ogun, Oyo and Osun) as ara oko ( village people) so what is that ? Let folks develop their countries and stay there, immigration is one of the problems that is killing America and if nothing is done, within twenty years, ketekete go burst!

ARE U 4 REAL @ Iron bar? How Law Abiding are we with all the drugs and other criminal charges against Nigerians almost anywhere they go?
Even in our own country, how Law abiding are we when it is thesame point where for example it is prohibited to urinate that Nigerians sees as best places to download their waste products?
If you don‘t want Nigerians to do a thing, then don‘t place a ban on such thing.
Yes, we‘ve got brains but what do we do with it other than thinking of how to manipulate things the wrong way just for momentary interest and gain?

@Ironbar, it’s not about the northerners, it’s about all of us weather Yoruba Igbo or Hausa, if we never changed our mind set on looting, stealing money and keeping it in abroad or under our bedroom then we go still remain the same.
If we do not change our orientation about the way upress and think of living that luxury life then we go remain the same.
If we no see bribe and I sabi person and who you be or Do u know who I am? Then we go remain the same
If we no have the love of our country for mind then we go remain the same.
Every tribe in Nigeria get 1-5 bad thing for mind while going to power, at the end we remain the same, No different form the past ones.

As long as they are not Aryan, the Nazi hates them, Trump is the same.
Hates the people, not the land they are from.
Also hates any other white men superior to him as he is so inferior in SUBSTANCE.
His sustance less than most of the “hombres” he hates.
Men who have worked hard to get to the top, he hates.
He inherited money and conned his way into multiplying same hence his lack of substance and hatred for anyone with substance regardless of race. Other men like him steal money from government treasuries or war zones. They all lack substance.
Women of substance prefer men of substance over him, he knows that, he has “bought’ the attention of the women he has been with throughout his life, it is a big pain for him and he wishes to take it out on the world in whichever way.
Men like him hates the concept of God and how they can do nothing to erase the influence of God, they are called antichrist but really are antiGod, the almighty, the alpha and omega. Trump is but a speck of dust given life, Trumps and people like Trump hate that.
So many men like Trump are also Nigerian leaders in government, organized religion leaders and leaders in other aspects of Nigerian life.

I’m glad he said all Nigerians regardless of ur statue so the like of Osibanjo,mr & mr Ebele,Buhari,Saraki,Dogara,Diezani,Obasanjo just to name a few. Useless ruler not leaders that won’t work for the country is terms of infrastruture rather tend to be looters.
