US Vice consulate in Lagos, Mr Christopher Richardson recently revealed why most Nigerian Visa applicants suffer rejection.
In his own words below:
The majority of the visa applicants prefer the US as their first outing. This creates doubt, especially when the applicant has not visited any other countries before.”
“When a question, such as ‘do you have a relation in the US?’ Most often, they are quick to say ‘yes’, which of course, is in order.
“Such an answer creates doubt that since the person has a relation, there is every tendency that the person may not want to come back. So visas can be rejected on that ground.”

It is a very sad situation, though I can't really blame them, it is our Leaders that put us all in such a mess, in those days when Nigeria still answears her name, do they asked such questions? when 1 dollar was one to one, when my father who was a farmer had 3 children in the state and pay there school fee from his cocoa prosids, They ve see us all. I was in Garmany some 16 years ago, and one of their officers asked me same question if I now anybody in the country, I told him no, he looked at me with so much disdain, and finally told me that, don't you think it's a foolish idea to come all the way from Africa without knowing anybody where you are going to? Let them be, they knew what they were doing as they have seen it all, i.e why will are runing up and down without a direction till will see where suits us. Our leaders we hate dee.

was denied visa today despite providing all the proof possible simple
because i am single…. almost all singles in abuja today who came for
interview were denied..

Sit down in your country and lets work hard not only to be like America but better so by the grace of God something will change .and America will soon want to visit nigeria
