Wole Soyinka: If Donald Trump Wins, He’ll Order Green Card Holders To Leave The US

The famous renowned Nobel Laurette, Prof. Wole Soyinka has just made headlines this morning for sharing his opinion about the fast approaching US election,next week, Nov.8, 2016.

The 1986 Nobel Laurette Prize Winner for Literature was caught up in a speech in Oxford as he gave his candid opinion which is believed to be the thought of many others who are immigrants.

The US election which has been a tightly contested race between the Democratic and Republican Party, having Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump with different heated debates is one never to be forgotten in the history of the US.

The thoughts of having the first female President in the US has gone like wildfire and the social media seem to be enjoying every bit of the drama unfolding.

Nobel literature laureate, Wole Soyinka, has told students that if Donald Trump is elected president of the United States, next week, he will leave the country. He disclosed the plan in a speech to Oxford students.

He said: “If in the unlikely event he does win, the first thing he’ll do is to say [that] all green-card holders must reapply to come back into the US. Well, I’m not waiting for that. The moment they announce his victory, I will cut my green card myself and start packing up.”
