Veteran actor, Yemi Solade has rubbished sexual harassment allegation levelled against him by, an aspiring actress, one miss Dolapo Lawal.

He added that it’s not only embarrassing but unfounded.

Speaking with Encomium on Thursday, November 23, 2017, the excellent role interpreter further described the allegation as nothing but a cheap lie. He therefore enjoined the public, especially his teeming fans to disregard what he termed a frivolous statement by his accuser as there’s no iota of truth in it.

“I believe you also know me well. I am not supposed to react to that kind of rubbish if not that I have a lot of respect for you.

It’s embarrassing accusing me of that. I am above that kind of rubbish. I don’t know her from anywhere. I have never met her.

What concerns me now, at my age, is how to move forward in my career and impact the society, not that baseless allegation.”

On the level of poverty in the industry at the moment, the Abeokuta, Ogun born filmmaker reacted, “It’s not only in our industry, poverty is everywhere now, including your industry.

We all need to continue praying and keep hope alive. I believe things will soon bounce back in the industry and Nigeria as a whole.”
